Questions, answered

What counts as a voucher?
Every saved accounting entry — payment, receipt, contra, journal, sales, purchase, credit note, or debit note. Drafts don't count until activated.
Can my CA access my books?
Yes. Invite them with the auditor role for read-only access, or accountant to work the books. CA firms manage multiple clients under one login.
Is my data safe?
Books are stored in Indian data centres with daily backups and an audit trail on every edit — MCA-compliant edit logs included.
Can I move from Tally?
Tally XML/Excel import is on the roadmap. Until then, start a new financial year in LedgerBook and carry forward opening balances.
What happens after the trial?
You drop to the Free plan — nothing is deleted. Upgrade whenever the 100-voucher monthly limit starts to pinch.
